How it works

Basics

ReqDC is a platform built on cloud services and it uses a shared platform for all integrations. It has been internally developed in the company, which enables it to meet the requirements of simple and complex custom integration needs. ReqDC platform has an API where data can be sent. Scheduled intervals and timed functions are supported where data is retrieved from your backends’ or your partners backends periodically.

Data to ReqDC

Integrations, called “Implementations” are built on the platform. Implementations are done and maintained by ReqDC developers. Integration owners (i.e. customers and their partners) may see and change some individual attributes as self-service of the integration via the App, such as backend URLs. Actual integration logic development is done by ReqDC developers.

Processing

Once the ReqDC platform has data, the processing can commence. It may include transformations, mappings, conversions and intentionally delayed processing and message queuing while preserving order. During data processing, complementary API requests can be sent to related partner and 3rd party systems where further data is sent or retrieved. IT systems can sometimes fail – for this ReqDC provides recovery capabilities for failed message sending; automated retrying and manual retrying from ReqDC App.

Transforming data

Transparency

We aim to provide full visibility to the integrations you own. You are able to see real-time charts for integration messaging and their statuses which is useful for developers and support groups. All transactional and log data is saved to ReqDC database and it can be viewed immediately or later on via the ReqDC App.

Architecture

Co-operation

Doing integrations means we are connecting two or more IT systems together. There are usually administrators for these systems. ReqDC developers are prepared to learn the software they are integrating from and to – if they are not already familar with them. Often times this means technical personnel are doing co-operation and knowledge transfer together.

ReqDC personnel work primarily from remote locations, participating in online meetings with teleconference technologies such as Zoom, Webex, GoToMeeting, Skype and so forth.

Communicate

Platform Development

The integration platform, as well as the App is being developed internally with new functions which provide usability and reliability. You do not need to separately purchase any upgrades or functionality – all updates to the platform itself are included in the monthly subscription.
